The Mighty Ducks and Thanksgiving Tacos

The long weekend started with Catherine, Linnea and me going to Sharkeez Wednesday night for some sober partying..
The line was looong and some pucks tried to squeeze in in front of us, so I kinda lost it. Dancing was fun, but Sharkeez looks very different when you are not under any influence.

Thanksgiving we were gonna go downtown to a restaurant with the chapala girls, but since everything was closed we changed our minds and headed for taco bell instead! But taco bell was ALSO closed, and McDonalds too, what is happening with the world when you can’t even rely on them? So we made our own tacos instead, and of course I out-ate everyone.

Friday we went shopping downtown and had dinner at a Mexican place, crazy good, then Linnea, Lisen, Carro, Johanna and me went to learn American drinking games from a real American, who knew they are here in SB? Evening ended with me and Linnea walking home, laughing our asses of because of the best misunderstanding ever; "bada i jackans/jacans pool?"

Saturday I went surfing in IV, and later everyone except Catherine went to Oscars surprise dinner at the Brewing Co.
Later we were gonna study, and to spice it up a bit we decided to drink some wine with our homework. Erica, Ylva and me drank 3 litres together and stayed up until 4 in the morning, discussing everything from religion to cybersex..

Sunday, we packed in 8 people in the rented van, Johanna, Carro, Lisen, Joel, Catherine, Ylva, Erica and me, and drove off into the horizon to see Anaheim Ducks vs. Phoenix Coyotes in LA. The game was exiting, especially when the gloves came of and they beat each other up a bit. The arena was basically full of testosterone and adrenaline and we were cheering as loud as we could, while stuffing our faces with nachos and cheese.

Great weekend basically! /Maria

Sleepy heads on the road, watch it!

Hi all our 8,000,000 readers!

I have no idea what to write; there is no news and I am fucked up tired.

I just wanted to say hi, take care!

Love Erica

The way you party is the way we preparty

What can I say, it was ledgen,... wait for it, hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of this word is; DAIRY!

Yesterday somehow turned our house into a mouldy catastrophe. I am not complaining though because it was fun and totally worth it. Although it could not have smelled worse this morning. Our "art" got legs, but came back safely. Discovered some of our furniture can break into multiple pieces. The ghost somehow locked the tripod-room and made it un-break-in-able, almost.. We now have fruit-loops EVERYWHERE. Ylva’s things did not go missing. We apparently have a Christmas tree.

Today we gathered our aching heads and bruised bodies to drive down in our rental and have brunch with the Chapala-Chicks. Pancakes have never tasted that good. Tonight we will go see Robert Pattingson in that vampire movie, hopefully as hot as the first.

Yesterday we started our day early by going shopping at the Camarillo outlet. We rented a car, in Linnea’s name since she is 21, but Erica who has more driving experience was driving. Since that is not really allowed we were freakishly paranoid when switching drivers. Could have sworn a white pick-up was following us out of the rental place and when we stopped, it stopped to. Therefore we had to shake this stalker off, a-la-bond. Think we did OK, but do you know how many white pick-ups there are on the streets of Santa Barbara? Maybe they are monitoring all foreigners who are fantasizing about kidnapping Paul Walker and keeping him in a garage.

Friday night with the galls (Honey bear)

Are just hanging out in our moldy house, planning for tomorrow when we are gonna go to Camarillo!
There we will spend all our hard earned (loaned/begged/borrowed/stolen) money, and maybe have some laughs on out little roadtrip.

My roomie Linnea have lately been terrorized by a honey bear, that has been showing up in some mysterious places... since Linnea is kind of freaked out by this sweat little bear she has reacted with nervous giggles when finding it in her bed, in her cupboard and in her bag.
I wonder where it will show up next...

We wish you all welcome!

Now is the time...

...to move to Buena Vista Apartments! Hurraaay! Today we paid our huge deposit and now we're just longing for a trip to IKEA in the end of December (when all the finals are done) to buy some furniture and Swedish candy. After the meeting with the new landlord we took the bus (!?) to an IBS meeting at school. We were late but as you say; classy people are always late! After the meeting Ylva, Maria A, Linnea and me went to a mexican restaurant and we ate like never before, crazy much food and crazy delicious!

By babes!

/Erica
